About the Minnesota Institute of Public Health
Founded in 1972 as a nonprofit organization, MIPH applies public health research and programming services to communities through project work commissioned by federal and state agencies, foundations and other groups. Our mission is to safeguard and protect the public health and well-being. We do this through the special skills, credentials and expertise of our 40 dedicated employees and our active network of consultants in public health, public safety, civics, community organization and training. Our staff includes public administrators, public health specialists, educational administrators and teachers, finance management specialists, technology, information communications and graphic design specialists, research scientists, community organizers, and program evaluators among other areas of expertise. Additional information about our work can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
MIPH remains a private company with a public interest.
