Federal, State and Local Levels

MIPH has a long history of working with national, state and local government agencies and departments, as well as tribal councils. Policy makers will find value in the up-to-date resources and services on substance use and other public health activities that are available from MIPH. In addition, our staff has access to epidemiological information on consumption and consequences of substance use.

Examples of government agencies and departments we have served include, but are not limited to: departments of health and public health, departments of human services and social services, departments of education, school boards and school districts, departments of corrections, sheriff’s departments, law enforcement agencies, departments of public safety, etc. MIPH also has a history of working with tribal governments.
