Implications of the marijuana legalization movement
This forum will feature addiction specialist, Dr. Charles Reznikoff, who will review new research on marijuana--among the commonly abused drugs by adolescents and young adults. Dr. Reznikoff will discuss:
- Medical implications to smoking marijuana
- Correlations between marijuana use and mental health
- Marijuana as an unregulated product
- Interventions that have been successful
Presenter:
Charles Reznikoff, M.D., is an addiction medicine specialist at Northfield Hospital, with a focus on youth and opiate addiction. He was trained in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center, and has a fellowship in addiction medicine at the University of Minnesota.
This event runs from Noon-1:15 p.m. and is free. There is no need to preregister.
