Deal Me In: Gambling Trigger Videos is a four-segment series, ranging in length from one to three minutes each, that provides viewers an opportunity to discuss real life situations that involve gambling and gambling problems. The videos and discussion guide can be used as a stand alone program or as a supplemental resource with Gambling: A Challenge for Youth or Improving Your Odds curricula for middle and high school age students. Gambling: A Challenge For Youth is a middle school curriculum that covers the history of gambling as well as a decision making model which students can use as they consider their involvement in gambling activities. Gambling: An Attempt at an Integration by Robert W. Wildman II is the culmination of over eight years of researching the literature in the field of gambling studies. Dr. Wildman has identified over 3,700 articles, integrating 1,800 of these in this publication. Improving Your Odds: A Curriculum About Winning, Losing and Staying Out of Trouble with Gambling is a secondary level curriculum designed to assist classroom teachers and youth leaders help young people acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to make choices about whether, when and how much to gamble. Table Talk: A Program for Families About Winning, Losing and Staying Out of Trouble with Gambling is designed to enable parents to help their children make safe, legal and low-risk choices about gambling. It includes information and activities to help parents talk with their children about the risks associated with gambling and how to establish personal guidelines to reduce the risk of developing a gambling problem. Wanna Bet is a curriculum designed for students in grades 5-8. The purpose of this interdisciplinary curriculum is to help students develop the knowledge base and skills necessary to think critically about gambling. Each Educator's Guide will contain the curriculum, Andy's Story, a 14 minute video, a copy of the teen book Wanna Bet: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Teen Gambling but Never Thought to Ask, eight (8) overhead masters and a bibliography.
