Gambling and the Flood




The Minnesota Department of Human Services recently disseminated a packet of information to professionals working with persons living in flood ravaged areas of the state. One of the items included in the packet was a resource sheet designed to alert professionals to the risks of gambling for people recovering from this kind of stressful life situation. Call the Minnesota Compulsive Gambling Hotline at 1-800-437-3641 for referral resources for people with gambling problems.
