March 2001
The Gambling Problems Resource Center web site received a major update in preparation for the Problem Gambling Awareness Week. The site received a completely new "look" as well as some additional resources. The site now includes searchable databases for Minnesota fee-for-service providers as well as Gamblers Anonymous and GamAnon meetings. Fact sheets on characteristics of Minnesota adults, college and youth gamblers; treatment effectiveness; gambling choices and guidelines; resources; recovery; signs of a gambling problem and gambling terminology have been posted. Available screening tools include the Gamblers Anonymous and GamAnon 20 Questions and the Two-Question Gambling Screen. Our resource catalog is also online.
Come check it out.
