All Bets Are Off: An Adolescent Compulsive Gambling Prevention and Training Program

This interactive train-the-trainer program, a 4-hour course held in three locations throughout Minnesota, will: 1) examine the extent of underage gambling; 2) describe what adolescents know and need to know about gambling and probabilities; and 3) demonstrate an interactive prevention strategy targeting middle school age youth which includes: focusing on the realities of gambling and the elevated risk for youth improving critical thinking demonstrating mathematical odds of winning/losing; and identifying problem gambling behaviors Please call the North American Training Institute at 218-722-1503 or visit the web site at www.nati.org for 1999 dates.
