ANNOUNCING Problem Gambling Talk for Professionals

An Electronic Networking Tool For Professionals

The Gambling Problems Resource Center (GPRC) has created an electronic networking tool called Problem Gambling Talk for Professionals. This list is an open forum for professionals to discuss issues related to problem or compulsive gambling. Staff of the GPRC will be on the list to direct inquiries if necessary, but in general the list will be for networking, discussing important issues related to the prevention or treatment of gambling problems, or for announcing upcoming events.

To subscribe to the Problem Gambling Talk for Professionals list do the following: 1) send an email to autoshare@miph.org and 2) include the following text in the body of your message: sub ProbGam-Prof Your Name (i.e. sub ProbGam-Prof John Doe).

You will receive a confirmation message once you are subscribed which you should keep in a safe place. This message will also contain instructions for unsubscribing from the list, should you decide you no longer wish to participate.

Once you are subscribed you can send announcements, ideas or questions to: ProbGam-Prof@miph.org. Your message will go to everyone else who is subscribed, and you will start receiving messages from others.

That is all there is to it! Remember that the more people subscribe to the list, the better the flow of ideas and information. Please share this announcement with others that might have an interest in being part of this discussion.

Welcome to the list!
