What the Survey Means for Your Community
Following survey implementation, MIPH prepares a comprehensive report with graphs and text that explains the findings, shows how your community measures up to 45 other communities that have conducted a Community Readiness Survey, and recommends action steps. MIPH staff will discuss the results and what they mean with the community contact. Upon completion of the survey, communities will know better how to:
- Raise awareness of community norms and attitudes toward alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and gambling.
- Focus prevention efforts on areas of greatest need.
- Strengthen ongoing prevention strategies.
