Ninth grade is a make-it or break-it year for many students as they ecncounter academic challenges and high-risk activities including alcohol and other drug use. Fortunately there is a program that can help make ninth grade a "make-it" year.

Building Assets - Reducing Risks provides educators with an asset-building approach to strengthen relationships, increase student engagement in school and learning, and identify and intervene with students who are not engaging in school and are at high risk.

This Program has demonstrated powerful results that reduce risk behaviors and increase thriving behaviors. Academic failure rates noticeably declined over the course of the project.*
