The AZCCG provides information on men, women and senior gamblers. This site also offers facts on compulsive gambling and gaming in Arizona as well as information about their 1-800 crisis line.

The Institute for Problem Gambling educates the public about the negative effects of problem gambling. This is accomplished through training, products and resource library. IPG's goal is to serve as an important resource for science based information on the study, prevention and treatment of problem gambling.

Media and Public Information Campaigns

Gambling has rapidly become an acceptable and regular part of recreation in our society. The variety of gambling outlets has increased over time to include online gambling, pull tabs, and sports betting, as well as casino gambling. Prevention and treatment for gambling is similar for all types of gambling addiction.

MIPH has played a significant role in the field of gambling prevention. Our experiences include media campaigns and administration of a statewide gambling helpline for Minnesota. In addition, we have provided technical assistance and training on statewide problem gambling public information campaigns and programming for six other states and Canada.
